ASHRAE Involvement: Why It Matters and the Avenues for Involvement
Elise Backstrom is a Registered Mechanical Engineer and a Registered Control Systems Engineer in the State of Arizona. As an engineer at Exyte, Elise designs mechanical and control systems for HVAC in advanced technology facilities. As an ASHRAE member, she is the Region X Young Engineers in ASHRAE Regional Vice Chair and the Student Activities Co-chair for the Central Arizona chapter. Additionally, she has deep involvement with the ASHRAE Technical Committe 1.4 Control Theory and Applications, currently serving as its Chair.
