Having written software used in California for Title 24 energy code compliance since 1985, Martyn Dodd is the founder of EnergySoft, a Bay Area company that specializes in performance based energy analysis for Title 24 and LEED.
He is one of the original authors of the 1992 Nonresidential Alternative Calculation Method (ACM) manual, which defines the rules for code compliance software, and has become the model for both national and international code compliance software procedures. Martyn has been involved in the California standards development process for the past 4 decades, and has consulted on the Title 24 rules and procedures extensively in that time.
